About Los Angeles Choral Artists

Founded in September of 2003 by Tony Thornton, Los Angeles Choral Artists (LACA) is a semi-professional chamber ensemble dedicated to superior choral performance. LACA's membership consists of an extremely talented volunteer base and a professional core of singers, representing many of the finest vocal artists in the Greater Los Angeles area.

Los Angeles Choral Artists presents a three-concert classical series which includes repertoire spanning all musical periods and styles. Our main performance venue is Zipper Concert Hall, yet we also perform in churches throughout Los Angeles. LACA gained international exposure through a performance to a capacity audience at the 3000-seat Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier in Montréal in the summer of 2004.

Through the combined power of words and music, an uncompromising attention to musical detail, and a passion for live performance, a Los Angeles Choral Artists concert is exciting, joyful, moving, educational, and soul-nurturing. Come and experience the music.
